SOFTAS (Statutory Off-Title Adaptation Scheme) is a government initiative that allows bonafide occupants to obtain formal land titles for land they have occupied for years.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a bonafide occupant (12+ years of continuous occupation)
- Land must not be government reserve land
- No active court case regarding the land
- Proper documentation of occupancy
